Faith Or Feeling

“Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1)

A hymn writer captured our topic this verse: Cease of fitness to be thinking Do not longer try to feel! It is trusting, and not feeling, That will give the spirit’s seal.”  You can’t always trust what you see or hear, or even the way you feel; but you can always trust the living God- the source of life. You can believe God to fulfill all His promises concerning you as a document in the scriptures. Declare to yourself, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me.” (Philippians 4:13). Believe that God can turn things around in every aspect of your life spiritually, academically, career-wise, skill acquisition, etc.

Confess and act on what God says concerning you. Your unwavering faith in God can move those mountains in your life. With faith, you can turn impossibilities to possibilities: for with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37). You can master those difficult subject if you study hard, pray and trust God for success, Believe God and You can get what you want.

Challenge:  God said it, I believe it, and that settles it

Prayer: Lord I believe in you, help my unbelief
