“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me” (Psalm 51:5)
Today’s text was a penitent prayer made by King David after he confronted by Prophet Nathan when he committed adultery. Sin is a general problem faced by all and sundry. No one born of a woman will beat his chest and claim that he has never sinned. It is a universal challenge facing people of every age, race, and religion. Your self-righteousness is just like a filthy rag before God. Some youth assert that they are morally okay because they were born into a Christain family. The Bible say, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23).
Many youths today are captive to the following vices: cheating in examination, lying, stealing, fornication, cursing, abusing, pride covetousness, hatred, pornography, etc. Are you free from all these and other vices not mentioned above? If not, come to Jesus right now. “The blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sins” (1 John 1;7) Repent now, confess your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and savior.
Challenge- The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sins
Prayers- O Lord, deliver me from every unrighteousness
