-But Jesus said unto her, let the children first be filled, for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs-(Mark 7: 271).

Do you remember the message of the angel of the Lord to the Blessed Virgin Mary? The angel said, "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save His people from their sins"(Matthew 1: 21 ). Once we have been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and have accepted Him as our Lord and savior, we are to enjoy all the benefits of the cross.

When the Syrophenician woman, a Gentile born in the Phoenician part of Syria, approached Jesus to heal her daughter, Jesus response was that she should allow the children to first be filled. As sons of God, we have possessions that belong to us, and we have the right to claim them for our lives. They include good health, food, clothing, education, and shelter. We are special in the sight of God, and we are to enjoy the inheritance we have in Christ. That means that we can have all that we need. You have rights to claim in the Kingdom. Don't allow the devil to cheat you!

Challenge- Give your life to Christ to have access to Kingdom rights. 

Prayer- Loving Lord, help me to always claim my right as your child.
