Are You Sure?

Wherefore the rather, brethren, given diligence to making your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall” (2 Peter 1:10)

There are many things that cannot be mistaken, and as such we are very sure when we talk about them. For instance, we know a girl to be different from a boy because of the physical features which set them apart. Similarly, we are aware when it is day or night. We are sure of all these because they are visible to the human eyes. 

Today there are so many people who go to church who bear Christian names and even participate in the service of God but are not sure of their relationship with God.

Dear friend, are you sure of your relationship with Christ can you say you are on your way to heaven? Just the same way you cannot mistake night for day or boy for a girl, you can be very sure of your salvation and your relationship with God with guess work. The sure way for you is to repent of all known sins and accept Jesus as your Saviour. You must also daily live by the word of God.

Challenge- Be sure of your salvation in Christ Jesus.
